Rust PC notes

Rust on Windows is wiped survival PvP. This page covers how players talk about hacks for that loop, what Easy Anti-Cheat watches, and how to check a build before you queue. TC ESP, player ESP, and ore nodes are the three overlays people ask for.

What Rust punishes

Rust is built around wiped survival PvP. Monthly and weekly servers both ban on screenshots. Stay quiet. If you only copy settings from another shooter, the extras will look fake in a recap.

Read the map, not just the crosshair. Recoil scripts that look like a perfect AK pattern get clipped. A quiet ESP or hold-key assist lasts longer than a visible lock.

What an overlay actually shows

TC ESP, player ESP, and ore nodes are the three overlays people ask for. That is why a quiet hacks overlay beats a full rage pack on this title.

Before you launch

Easy Anti-Cheat is the gate. Wipes, caves, and roofcamp angles punish missing ESP more than missing spray. After a patch, wait for a rebuild note. If the overlay shakes, bones drift, or the menu injects twice, close the game.

Use a hold key. Keep FOV small. Do not test a new loader in ranked, tournaments, or a streamed lobby. That is the whole safety list.
